The APGA Safety Contest is an annual award given out to APGA public gas systems members for dedication to safety based on the systems' overall incident (lost work time) rates. Public gas systems are divided into six groups based on annual number of man-hours worked, and the winner of each group will be calculated based on total man-hours worked and lost hours due to accident or injury from January 1 to December 31 of the calendar year.
Congratulations to all the 32 winners of the 2019 APGA Safety Contest!? These gas systems highlight the dedication of APGA members to maintaining the highest safety standard within their system, their communities, and in the natural gas industry.
